Benue State

Benue State is located in the central region of Nigeria, often referred to as the "Food Basket of the Nation" due to its rich agricultural resources. Its capital is Makurdi, a vibrant city that serves as the state's economic and political hub. Created in 1976, Benue is predominantly inhabited by the Tiv, Idoma, and Igede ethnic groups.
